Dr. Shannon Shepard
Veterinarian
Dr. Shannon Shepard is originally from Eufaula, Alabama, she earned her undergraduate degree from Troy University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Shepard has a strong passion for small animal medicine and surgery, with interests in dermatology and geriatric care. She is an active member of both the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Outside of work, Dr. Shepard enjoys an active lifestyle that includes CrossFit, refinishing furniture, camping, and boating with her family. She and her husband, Dane, live in Smithville with their three children, Nate, Kinley, and Drake. Their household also includes four dogs and two cats. Dr. Shepard especially enjoys attending her children’s sporting events.

Dr. Austin Mobley
Veterinarian
Dr. Austin Mobley is a proud Leesburg native and a graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As one of Leesburg Animal Hospital’s skilled and enthusiastic veterinarians, he brings a unique blend of knowledge in exotic and zoo animal care, along with a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Mobley enjoys spending time with his wife, Alexis, and their two children. He is also active in his church community and enjoys playing with a local ultimate frisbee group.
